Child care workers and teachers` aides provide care and supervision for children in schools, residential homes and child care facilities.
Tasks performed usually include: assisting children individually to learn social skills; demonstrating, supervising and participating in activities that enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children in schools and preschools; assisting in preparation of materials and equipment for children`s education and recreational activities before-school, after-school, during vacation and in day care centres.
