Performs both horizontal and vertical rigging works. Assembles and disassembles mechanisms intended for moving or transporting heavy loads, installed on loading yards or platforms. Uses lifting cranes, winches, suspended lifts, and other specialized equipment, and selects and tests ropes, chains, and other special equipment that would match the weight and configuration of the cargo being transported.

Main activities

* perform vertical and horizontal rigging works;
* lift heavy structures, use cranes, winches, suspended lifts and other specialized equipment;
* test ropes, repair them, cut off worn parts and replaces them with new ones, connect ends, attache ropes to cabs;
* use various lifting and rigging mechanisms, monitor them;
