Performs inspections of food processing places from a food safety perspective. Checks and controls food products and processes, ensures compliance with legal acts and regulations governing safety and health.


Main activities

* inspect processes of food product production, processing, storage and distribution, perform risk assessments and propose actions to improve process safety and quality;
* perform regular inspections in food product production, processing companies, ensure that all processes comply with legal acts;
* respond to report of violations of food product safety and conducts relevant investigations;
* cooperate with state institutions and food product production, processing companies;
* ensure that food product safety laws and standards are constantly updated.
