Teaches patients to be independent in self-care, washing, dressing, eating, purposeful movement. Adapts compensatory tools: spoons, toothbrushes with special handles, other household tools, rehabilitates patients and elderly people with physical or psychological disorders, helps patients perform therapeutic activities, and prepares for therapy sessions. Participates in community association activities.
Main activities
* create rehabilitation plans together with an occupational therapist;
* supervise patients, provide assistance in eating and dressing;
* maintain and organize occupational therapy equipment and supplies;
* participate in therapy sessions and help patients perform rehabilitation exercises;
* inform and communicate with patients' family members and other healthcare professionals.
