Assists pilots by providing information about altitude, speed and course to make it easier to take off and land safely. Coordinates safe and orderly aircraft movement on main air routes to and from airports and around airports. Controls air traffic at airports and near them, complying with established procedures and policy, avoids collisions and reduces delays due to traffic jams.


Main activities

* teach and assess pilots' skills and knowledge required for safe and effective flight management;
* plan and organize flight manager training, following requirements, established procedures and standards;
* conduct practical training, simulators and practical part of training for flight managers;
* evaluate and take necessary actions, ensure pilot qualification level;
* participate in quality control process, ensure proper execution of training programs and compliance with standards.
