Teaches novice pilots the techniques and procedures of airplane control. Explains the operation and use of the constituent parts of the airplane, such as using the steering wheel, ailerons, airplane wing valves, compasses, altimeter and radio communication. Accompanies trainees during training flights and demonstrates airplane control techniques when steering, taking off, turning, landing and other maneuvers. Teaches and learns pilot concepts, techniques and practices necessary to become a qualified piloting specialist.
