Leads the work of the aircraft crew during the flight. Before the flight, makes sure that the aircraft is prepared for flight, the entire flight crew is assembled and ready and all necessary documents are in the aircraft. Operates the aircraft and controls the technical condition of the flying aircraft.

Main activities

* follow flight rules, make sure that the aircraft is prepared for flight;
* use radar screens and other radar equipment, ensure that aircraft fly at a safe distance from each other;
* understand the information about locations, distances and other parameters presented on three-dimensional screens;
* ensure the execution of tasks and procedures so that aviation certificates are valid, take appropriate protective measures;
* use control panels in the pilot's cockpit or in the aircraft cabin, consider flight needs, control electronic aircraft systems, ensure a smooth flight.
