Coordinates the ship and is responsible for safety, customers and crew. Determines ship operations and is responsible for equipment and crew handling, for the safety of his cargoes and passengers.

Main activities

* responsible for ship navigation and control, planning of ship routes, speed and course control;
* responsible for the safety of the ship and compliance with requirements, maintenance and inspection of navigation equipment, communication equipment, ship structure and other important elements;
* ensure that the ship's cargo is neatly and safely collected, unloaded and transported, create cargo handling plans, maintenance of handling techniques and equipment, cargo storage and unloading;
* responsible for the safety of ship passengers, safety rules, maintenance of safety equipment and ensures that passengers are timely informed about ship safety;
* plan and manage the ship's budget, preparation and maintenance of ship administration documents and procedures.
