Measures forested masses, nails guidelines and draws maps, indicates driveways. Makes forest inventory descriptions. Estimates the quantity of timber in a certain forest area. Prepares and draws tree felling plans, determines logging boundaries. Examines trees, determines the extent of damage done. Checks the work done at logging sites, ensures compliance with instructions, rules and other regulatory document requirements.
Main activities
* collect and manage forest data used by forest engineers and other specialist groups;
* perform forest felling work, timely and quality preparation of timber for transport;
* monitor the condition of the forest, timely identify and determine forest pests and diseases;
* provide advice in the field of forestry, improve forest growth and development;
* work on technical issues with forest farm equipment and equipment.
