313101 - Electric station operator

Controls, monitors and supervises distribution boards and similar control centers of electricity, which control the production and distribution of electricity and other energy to transmission networks. The controlled equipment includes electric reactors, turbines, generators, and other auxiliary equipment.

Main activities

* control the power transmission and distribution system, monitor the power plant's operation;
* supervise electrical production equipment;
* monitor electrical networks and protect against electrical failures, respond to any unplanned electrical network failures, repair damaged electrical energy systems;
* perform reconstructions of the power transmission and distribution system, ensure efficient electricity supply and transmission;
* implement modernization of electrical networks, follow safety rules and regulations, fill in documentation and prepare reports.
