311520 - Mechanical products quality inspector

Inspects and tests equipment and other mechanical devices, determines the completeness of work, operating conditions, their compliance with technical condition descriptions and standard requirements. Checks equipment and its separate parts, monitors for cracks and paint irregularities and other defects that interfere with obtaining permits to operate the mechanical product, inspects it and connects it to the power source and monitors the mechanical operation of devices and separate parts and meter readings. Performs a small adjustment of parts; registers this information in the inspection journal, draws conclusions, gives recommendations.
