Main activities

* analyze various statistical information and take appropriate preventive and corrective actions;
* check the documents of maritime vessels, assess the ship's compliance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, international treaties and requirements set out in other legal acts;
* evaluate the condition of mechanical and electrical equipment and their ability to ensure uninterrupted ship navigation;
* evaluate the results of ship construction and operation;
* draw up an evaluation act of an approved form, indicating the identified deficiencies or non-compliances, and their elimination conditions and terms.
