Performs technical tasks, supervised and overseen by a shipbuilding engineer, related to the design, production, installation, technical maintenance, and repair of ship and floating device bodies and deck equipment.

Main activities

* perform studies and calculations related to optimal ship displacement, its operating life, engine and engine performance;
* prepare ship construction and selected equipment installation plans and estimates, assist the shipbuilding engineer;
* monitor technical construction conditions and standards requirements and implementation control;
* participate in consultations with the mechanical engineer, coordinate shipbuilding blueprints;
* improve ship bodies, equipment, and cargo safety standards and procedures, control performing topographic sea works.
