Applies practical knowledge about metrology, calibrates measuring devices, test equipment and analyzes their operational properties. Ensures that the assessed equipment complies with performance and accuracy requirements. Prepares his activity reports and advises on technical issues related to measuring instruments.

Main activities

* perform tests, evaluate the reliability and suitability of the equipment to carry out tasks;
* interpret and analyze data obtained during tests, formulate conclusions, new insights or decisions;
* solve planning, organizing, leadership problems in the field of evaluation of activity results, collect, analyze and summarize information, assess current practice and forms new agreements for practical actions;
* supervise equipment and supply inventory, order necessary additional materials;
* control data reading devices and equipment, perform scientific measurements.
