Performs technical tasks related to blasting works, assembles and safely detonates explosives at the construction site, on-site blasting and shattering materials.

Main activities

* investigate blast sites, determine the appropriate amount of explosives needed, ensure compliance with safety requirements;
* set safety limits and safety signals around the blasting territory, ensure a clear and safe blasting site before explosions;
* control the blasting territory, check whether all explosives have been safely detonated, announce that the blasting territory is safe;
* handle explosives, comply with legal acts concerning explosives, monitor and control the warehouse;
* make independent activity decisions, take into account circumstances and all related procedures and legal acts, determine the best possibility in a specific situation.
