System administrators improve, control, maintain, and support optimal information technology system performance and security. Responsible for the supervision, configuration, and reliable operation of computer and network systems, servers, professional computers, and workstations. Acquires, installs, or updates computer components and software, automates routine tasks, writes computer programs, troubleshoots, trains, supervises employees, and provides technical support. Ensures optimal system integrity, security, backup, and operation.
Main activities
* evaluate system reliability and performance before, during, and after component inclusion, during system operation, and maintenance;
* select, perform, and monitor software or hardware tests to detect system deficiencies related to integrated system units, assemblies, and the system as a whole;
* analyze company's critical assets and identifies vulnerabilities and weak spots, due to intrusion or attack, apply security detection methods, understand cyber-attack methods, and implement effective responsive measures;
* implement data recovery backup procedures, ensure continuous and reliable system operation, create backup databases, aim to obtain information by copying and archiving data, ensure continuity during system integration and data loss;
* plan, implement, and monitor system change and modernization, maintain previous system versions.
