A database specialist designs, creates, and manages databases. They program, install, and coordinate changes to computer databases, relying on their experience related to database management systems.
Main activities
* oversee the data transfer process from an old (obsolete) system to a current one - transcribe, associate, document, and modify data;
* stabilize the workload and resources of database management, controls transaction demand, allocate disk space, and ensure server reliability, optimizing the cost and risk ratio;
* administer all data resources throughout their lifecycle, examine data profiling, standardization, identification, cleansing, enhancement, and auditing;
* test the system or grouped software components, evaluate their connectivity, interface, and global operation capabilities;
* identify and corrects incorrect data set records, ensuring that data is and remains systematized according to guidelines.
