Identifies system requirements, implements end-user requirements. Analyzes system functions, defines its objectives and purpose, determines which operations and procedures help achieve objectives most effectively. Develops new information technology solutions, improves business efficiency and performance, prepares an overall estimate of new systems development and expenses, indicates system performance, and acquaints end-users with data. Familiarizes users with the structure and closely collaborates with them, implementing various solutions.
Main activities
* understand and use interfaces specific to the application or use case;
* evaluate system reliability and performance before, during, and after component integration, as well as during system operation and maintenance, select and use performance monitoring tools and methods, and specialized software;
* select, perform, and monitor software or hardware testing, detect system flaws related to integrated system units, collectors, and the system as a whole, organize research, assembly testing, security testing, and graphical user interface testing;
* supervise the data transfer process from an old (obsolete) system to the current one, list, link, migrate, document, and replace data;
* perform security, penetration, wireless testing, code review, according to industry-accepted methods and protocols, identify and analyze potential vulnerabilities.
