* develop and supervise strategies, avoid equipment malfunctions, errors and pollution risk in nuclear facilities, anticipate response actions in case of a nuclear accident;
* prepare strategies for facilities and organizations that may experience radiation or radioactive material exposure, protect individuals inside the premises in case of danger;
* monitor nuclear power plant systems, ensure proper operation and identify violations.
