Monitors the condition of the aircraft, controls the removal of defects and ensures the aircraft's suitability for flight, plans maintenance work according to requirements and flight schedule. Ensures aircraft maintenance according to relevant regulations and requirements, suitability for flight and compliance with operational requirements, reviews technical records after aircraft maintenance.

Main activities

* design equipment, engines, used in aircraft in aviation and consult on these matters;
* evaluate the functionality and reliability of aircraft systems, improve aircraft maintenance, repair, and diagnostics;
* set control standards and procedures, ensure the proper operation and safety of aircraft, their equipment and systems;
* ensure the operation of aircraft equipment, maintenance, and compliance with technical conditions and safety standards;
* design internal combustion engines and other non-electric engines, used in airplanes or other mechanisms and consult on these matters.
