Performs experimental work, tests, and analysis, investigates the chemical composition of various natural or synthetic materials, raw materials, and products, as well as their energetic and chemical changes.


Main activities

* Investigate and analyze food chemical components, their chemical reactions, and interactions;
* investigate the influence of physical, chemical, and biochemical factors on food production processes and food products;
* develop new food products with altered compositions, containing lower amounts of fats or carbohydrates, search for new food additives and analyze them;
* search for new methods to ensure food product safety and quality, improve existing ones;
* investigate food production processes, perform applied scientific research in the food field.
