Controls pipe drawing processes, ensures high surface quality and dimensional accuracy. Knows how to use drawing benches, controls the beginning and end of processes, eliminates disruptions. Analyses product samples, performs tests, records data and fills out the production journal.

Main activities

* acquaint with the order specification, prepare the bench, necessary tools and materials;
* control the bench, adjust the pressing force, draw seamless metal sections;
* form metal sections into the required shapes, applying heat treatment processes if needed;
* check the quality of drawn pipes and tubes, perform measurements and compare with the established requirements;
* maintain and repair the bench, replace or maintain its tools.
