Main activities

investigates explosion sites, determines the appropriate amount of explosives required, ensures compliance with safety requirements; 
establishes safety boundaries and safety signals around the blasting area, ensures that the blasting site is empty and safe before explosions; 
controls the blasting area, checks whether all explosives have been safely detonated, declares that the blasting area is safe; 
follows safe procedures for detonating explosives for mining purposes; 
handles explosives in accordance with explosives legislation, including warehouse monitoring and control.
