754103 - Underwater worker

Works underwater wearing a special diver's suit. Performs such work as repair of structures, search and other tasks, maintains communication, gives a signal with wires or means of communication adapted for work under water. Inspects and repairs the foundations of piers and ports, inspects underwater facilities, identifies defects, informs and removes underwater obstacles, performs minor repairs of ship hulls underwater.

Main activities

inspects and maintains underwater objects, ensures their operation and safety; 
collects and removes wastewater from underwater pipelines and sewage systems; 
repairs and maintains coastal infrastructure elements, breakwaters or wave barriers; 
organizes diving teams and leads them, ensures their safety; 
participates in scientific research, collects data for research.
