Responsible for underwater emergency management. Prevents and manages underwater problems, responds to diving emergencies and operates rescue equipment. Manages diving operations in seas or waterways.

Main activities

carries out search and rescue tasks; 
remain composed and operate effectively under stress or adverse circumstances; 
ensures that the diver leaves the appropriate depth after the scheduled time; 
reacts quickly, calmly and safely in unexpected situations; provides a solution that solves the problem or reduces its impact; 
takes control of plans and strategies in special circumstances, shows empathy and understanding, solves a problem.
