Controls various woodworking lathes. Adjusts, regulates, accepts, sets up, and changes complex wood processing equipment, varnishing machines, four-sided planing and molding lathes. Adjusts and regulates mechanical processing, finishing work, match production, and panel production automatic and semi-automatic line nodes. Processes wood and its products, creates the required shape, dimensions, and surface structure.
Main activities
* understands the order, sketches a draft, and selects the appropriate type of wood;
* processes the wood with a lathe, sets the necessary control program and speed of the lathe;
* joins wood pieces, creates elements of complex shape;
* checks processed wood and adjusts the lathe;
* keeps the workplace tidy and timely performs maintenance work.
