Measures log diameter manually, photogrammetrically, or digitally and calculates log volume. Measures logs in accordance with the Lithuanian Minister of Environmental Protection's order, the Rules for Measuring and Determining the Volume of Round and Unfelled Forest.

Main activities

* measure logs in accordance with the Lithuanian Minister of Environmental Protection's order;
* apply various measuring methods for roundwood;
* adapt errors for different measuring methods according to methodology;
* use manual or electronic, photogrammetric log measuring devices;
* apply unitary and group log measuring methods.
