Oversees and coordinates the work of waitstaff in restaurants or hotel restaurants. Reserves tables for guests, parties, greets guests and escorts them to their designated places.
Main activities
* ensures compliance with established service standards and hygiene norms set for food;
* coordinates and monitors employees who ensure that tables are clean, dishes and glasses are washed and neatly arranged on tables;
* ensures that food and drinks are served to clients on time and of quality;
* advises clients on the choice of dishes and drinks, is knowledgeable about food products, beverages and their pairing, in order to provide quality services;
* communicates with clients to check if they are satisfied and strives to ensure that they feel comfortable and satisfied with the quality of service.
