Guided by the script and director's idea, creates special noises and sound effects for movies, radio and television broadcasts. Supervises sound equipment, performs technical maintenance and repair. Responsible for recording sound onto media and other sound processing procedures.

Main activities

* record and edit sound recordings, adapting them for different events (e.g., television shows, movies, radio shows, etc.);
* maintain and operate sound equipment, including microphones, amplifiers, sound processors, and camera systems;
* create sound effects that match the vision of the director or other creator and applies them to different audiovisual media;
* collaborate with directors, operators, musicians, and other creative professionals;
* use various effects to achieve the required level of sound recording quality.
