Helps customers choose eyeglass frames, advises on suitable dimensions and appropriate shapes, adjusts frames to the client's face, suits the client's taste, selects the lenses prescribed by the doctor, determines the necessary type, dimensions and shape of contact lenses, familiarizes the customer with the technical parameters of the lenses, measures the distance between the client's eye lenses, the dimensions of the eyes, the diameter of the cornea, teaches the client how to insert or remove contact lenses themselves, performs minor glasses repair.
