Provides assistance to veterinarians and scientists, performs clinical tests of body fluids and tissue samples, diagnoses animal diseases or injuries, determines cause of death, develops new treatment method or drugs.

Main activities

* collect various samples from animals;
* perform laboratory tests, bacteriological and serological analysis, biochemical tests, immunological tests and uses different laboratory tools;
* supervise laboratory devices, microscopes, fermentors, sterilizers and perform their maintenance work;
* keep medical documentation, manage samples and organize their transportation to other laboratory departments or to other institutions;
* communicate with animal owners, veterinarians and other specialists, prepare test reports and collaborate with clients.
