Controls activities aimed at expanding European airspace to make it flexible and able to respond to changing needs of airspace users. Aims to optimize network capacity and improve performance, responsible for airspace control and safe coordination of aircraft flights.

Main activities

* supervise aircraft movement in airspace and ensure that aircraft reach their destination on time and safely;
* communicate with pilots and other specialists in airspace, ensure smooth and safe aircraft traffic;
* monitor aircraft flight trajectories and supervise to avoid collisions with other aircraft or objects in the airspace;
* analyze weather conditions and plan aircraft flight routes;
* resolve situations related to flight delays, changes or cancellations due to weather conditions or other reasons.
