Main activities

* identify restoration needs and requirements and plans activities. take into account desired outcomes, required intervention level, action constraints, stakeholders' needs, and potential risks;
* prepare guidelines for object storage, preservation, and maintenance, and provide professional consultations on the feasibility of restoration works;
* use scientific, x-ray, and visual tools, carefully monitoring artworks and artifacts to determine the causes of quality deterioration;
* select and apply appropriate restoration methods to achieve the required restoration goals;
* evaluate the results of preservation and restoration procedures, risk levels, procedure or activity success, and report the results to the client.
