Services local or extended computer networks of organizations, performs daily user administration and technical and software computer network equipment maintenance functions in various work environments.
Main activities
* assess and suggest improvements for network performance and integrated hardware, software, communication, and operating systems;
* investigate, analyze, evaluate, and monitor network infrastructure to ensure optimal network configuration;
* apply specialized skills to troubleshoot and manage critical network issues;
* install, test, and administer software, new and updated networks, database applications, servers, and computerized workstations;
* perform network inventory procedures, prepare and maintain documentation, improve and modif networks, identify and register network failures, and resolv them.
