Installs local computer networks, detects the causes of their malfunctions, and organizes their elimination. Analyzes the technical and economic characteristics of computer hardware and software. Assembles, updates, prepares user computers, performs computer diagnostics, and software installation work, eliminates malfunctions of computers and external devices. Designs and modernizes computer systems, designs and manufactures microprocessor devices, programs logic controllers. Works with text editors, automated design and electronic spreadsheet software packages, programs in C++, Delphi, Java, Pascal, and Visual Basic languages, independently performs engineering tasks, applies the latest methods and technologies.

Main activities

* select, perform, and monitor software or hardware tests, detect system deficiencies related to integrated system units, assemblies, and the system as a whole, organize research, assembly, security, and graphical user interface tests;
* Evaluate the software product or system being developed, determine functional and non-functional requirements, constraints, and possible use case sets, illustrating the interaction of software and its users, specifications;
* Specify the technical properties of goods, materials, methods, processes, services, systems, software, and functions, determine specific needs according to customer requirements;
* Manage engineering project resources, budget, deadlines, and human resources, create schedules, perform any project-related technical activities;
* Prepare documentation for existing and future products or services, describe their functions and composition so that the information is understandable to a wide audience without technical knowledge and meets established requirements and standards.
