Assesses children's needs and helps solve problems that hinder children and adolescents from developing and adapting to their environment normally. The job specifics depend on the acquired specialization: organizing cultural events, working with at-risk children, prevention and rehabilitation of social diseases, or other areas.
Main activities
* provide supervision, support, and educational services to children and youth whose education or abilities differ;
* create educational procedures for youth, so they are responsible for their own experience;
* contribute to the learning, well-being, and social inclusion of individuals, and pay much attention to increasing autonomy;
* professionally communicate and collaborate with representatives of other professions in the health and social services sector;
* plan, carry out, and supervise educational activities for various audiences: students, university students, professional groups, or community members.
