Understands the physical properties of weldable and auxiliary materials, various welding methods, adjusts welding machines and semi-automatics, controls welding robots and works with various welding equipment, performs quality control and evaluates welding work inspection procedures, has a lot of knowledge and critical understanding of the application of welding technology.

Main activities

* use various existing metal part welding techniques, their properties and application;
* design and optimize new methods of welding metal parts; prepare solutions to the welding problems, taking into account the properties of welding materials and equipment;
* prepare initial models or prototypes, test concepts and repeatability possibilities, create prototypes, conduct preliminary tests based on them;
* notice and identify various imperfections of metal blanks or finished products, determine the best solution to the problem that could have been caused by corrosion or wear;
* collect data, evaluate the impact of technologies on the community.
