Works on forest cultivation or timber preparation. Ensures the growth of quality seedlings, applies knowledge of ecology, restores, breeds and grows forests. Restores the forest in logging areas or breeds it in unsuitable agricultural areas. Solves forest protection problems, inventories forest resources. Applies advanced timber preparation technologies, adapts various mechanisms in performing forestry work. Determines the commercial value of round and sawn timber, prepares and handles financial and economic activity documents.


Main activities

* analyze the biological diversity and genetic resources of forestry, prepare reports;
* select and prepare places for new trees, use controlled burning, bulldozers or herbicides to remove vegetation;
* give advice, apply the most suitable method of selective group or individual tree felling;
* protect forest plants from pests and diseases, apply chemical control, sanitation and elimination measures;
* monitor populations of wild animals and plants and their habitats, determine the impact of logging and other forestry-related actions on them.
